Normand William DeWolfe 65, died at his residence on August 4, 2016 with his family by his side following a brief illness. Born in Rochester, NH. On February 24, 1951 he was Normthe son of William and Constance [Raiche] DeWolfe Jr.  He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover, NH.

A graduate of the University of Rhode Island School of Pharmacy, his career began at Dionne’s Drugs in Somersworth, NH and then he became the owner of DeWolfe’s Pharmacy in Rochester, moving on to be the District Supervisor for Brooks Drugs.  He ended his career as a staff pharmacist at Rite Aid in Plymouth, NH.  A past president of the NH Board of Pharmacy, he continued after retirement, presenting programs on medication to area senior citizen groups.

Retirement gave him the opportunity to enjoy fishing, boating, snowmobiling and ATVing.  He was a member of the Hardy County and Baker River Snowmobile Clubs.

Until his illness, he was Chairman of the Ashland Board of Selectmen and a liaison to various town committees and commissions.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years  Kathleen [Fallon] DeWolfe of Ashland, his daughter Stephanie DeWolfe Chase and husband Morgan and grandsons Henry and Colin Chase of Portland, Oregon; his son John DeWolfe and his girl friend Ryan Russell of Gilmanton, NH.  He was predeceased by his parents and brother William.

Calling hours will be held on Friday August 12, 2016 from 5-7 pm at the Dupuis Funeral Home 11 Hill Avenue in Ashland. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 13, 2016 at Holy Trinity Parish Saint Agnes Catholic Church on Hill Avenue in Ashland at 10 am.
