Dorothy C Guyotte 94, longtime New Hampton resident died on December 21, 2014 at Golden view Healthcare Center in Meredith, following a period of failing health.
She was born in Holderness on November 30, 1920, the daughter of Reginald and Maude (Pulsifer) Clark. Spending her early years in Campton, she graduated from Plymouth High School, and went on to get her teaching degree from Plymouth Teachers College.
After her school years, she was married to Alphonse Guyotte, her husband of 60 years. They later settled in New Hampton. Dot was a lifelong educator, teaching school in Alexandria, the Huminston School in Meredith, at her own Kindergarten in New Hampton, and at the Ashland Elementary School for many years.
She was a member of the Ashland Woman’s Club. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and time with her family.
She is survived by three sons, Robert C Guyotte of Holderness, John “Jack” Guyotte of Georgia, and Brian E Guyotte of Ashland; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren, four sisters Mary McClure, Marjorie Clark, Kathleen Montgomery, and Evelyn Calder all of California.
