Carroll J “Butch” Cote, 75, died suddenly on December 25, 2013 at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth. He was born in Plymouth on April3,1938. He was the son of Harry L and Rose (Ruel) Cote.
He grew up in Ashland, attending Ashland Schools and was a graduate of Ashland High School. Following his School years, he enlisted in the US Air Force, following his service to his country; he returned to Ashland and worked as a tradesman for many years. He enjoyed fishing, berry picking. He was predeceased by his parents, Brother David and Sisters Harriett and Theresa.
He is survived by his three daughters, Rose St. Pierre of Manchester, Debra Cote of Mesa, Arizona, and Cheryl Coombs of Linden, VA. One son, James Cote of Gilbert, Arizona; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two brothers, Harry Cote Jr of New Hampton, Vincent Cote of Massachusetts; four sisters Sue Crookshanks of West Virginia, Jane Killian of Alabama, Jacqueline Melanson of Vermont, Brenda Christian of Maine and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at St Agnes Catholic Church, Hill Avenue in Ashland at 10 am. Dupuis Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of the arrangements. For more info, go to dupuisfuneralhome.com
