Roy Mardin Obituary

Roy Mardin born in November 1959 in Plymouth lived in Campton and later in Ashland. Unfortunately, Roy’s health was not the best throughout his life and on March 18th he peacefully passed away at home.

Roy had many loves to include his family, his wife and his many friends. Roy’s family includes his brothers Richard, Ray and Randy; his sister Linda; nieces Eleanor and Deb, and nephews Michael, Jeff, Tim and Randy. Roy was also close to his sisters-in-law. Roy was married to Melanie for almost 40 years and the two shared a home together in Ashland. The two also shared many of his other loves in life to include 4-wheeling in his favorite Toyota Land-cruiser, snowmobiling, and collecting antique trucks and snow-machines.

Roy enjoyed tinkering in the garage, helping his family and friends and spending time at the family camp. He was employed by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation as a truck driver and later in one of the State DOT warehouses for almost 40 years. He was very adept at repairing small equipment and took pride in doing an excellent job.

Roy will be missed by all who knew him. He is predeceased by his parents Robert and Daisy, his brother Robert and niece Becky.
